Download and backup photos from Instagram
4k Stogram is an Instagram client for Windows that allows users to save publicly shared Instagram photos.
Unlike Instagrille, another desktop Instagram client, 4k Stogram only downloads photos to your computer. There is no way to interact with the photos. You can't like, comment, or share a photo from within the app.
The main interface of 4k Stogram is extremely stripped down and minimalistic. There is a search bar at the top for searching user names. It will take a few seconds for 4k Stogram to find the user and begin cataloging every photo from that user. Photos are automatically saved to your 'Pictures' folder and sub folders are created for each user name you type into 4k Stogram.
Photos downloaded quickly and effortlessly. You can begin browsing downloaded photos by clicking them, which will open up in Windows Photo Viewer or your photo viewer of choice. Pictures are downloaded in native resolution, which isn't very high but is acceptable for sharing over the web.
Overall, 4k Stogram is a good application for downloading and archiving Instagram photos but its lack of features make it a one trick pony.

V2.1 does not work for me any longer. I had no issues with my previous version but decided to update due to new features. Big mistake on my part. More

Good when it works... :(.
It no longer works... AGAIN! And only 24 hours after their latest release! It is a very decent program when it works.PROS:
- Can download photos from people you follow who are otherwise private.
- Pretty simple to use - copy/paste the name and it will start the download.CONS:
- No longer works. It does not log in.
- When it did work, it only downloaded some of the photos. Downloads would break and it would finish prematurely, so you would only get 3/4 of the photos or you would have to try again.
- Unable to do parallel downloads. Well, you CAN, but it will never download them and stop prematurely.
- You are forced to remove users from the program because if there are too many, it will crash.
- Terrible job updating the software and making sure that it will stay up to date.
- Typical installation BS that you find in Freeware programs (no I do not want to download Chrome again, no I do not want to download safesurf, no no no!)So it would be good if it would actually work, first of all, and when it does work, if it would DOWNLOAD ALL PHOTOS, and not corrupt 3/4 of the way through, thus only giving you the option to start over and over again until it finally completes what it originally intended to do.Please, developer, this is a decent program when it works. Please fix it. :(
